At
this point it may be worthwhile to review what we ‘more probably than not’
know. We first concluded that if we are sure of anything, we are sure that we
have the ability to think. We know this with greater certainty than anything
else in the world because we experience thinking innately. But we do not think in
isolation but rather encounter a world with objects. These objects seem to be
constant and solid, and so, we have generally concluded that there exists a
physical world. The physical world is also surprisingly reliable in that,
over time, we were able to deduce certain first principles, such as the
Principle of Causation (every effect has a cause) and the Principle of
Causality (like causes always have like effects). From these very convincing
principles, we are able to further explore the physical world, gather evidence,
and draw conclusions about the smallest details and the greatest “laws of
nature.” Find more at http://www.delightinhim.com/consciousness-comes-from-a-superior-conscious-theory-5-part-13.html
